I kind of think so too. Or suspend him.
Only what I've read on here. I've been a little preoccupied...my son was named the starting QB for his college team tonight, as a freshman. The rest of this crap matters very little to me at the moment. Haven't bothered to check with anybody.
Wasn't meaning to challenge your thoughts, I believe you are level headed and I trust your young brain far more than my old one ... lol

Care to explain?
This is my thing.
Maybe.... But he's still the coach and it's his job to know. To me it's just an excuse to cover his azz
That would he true if the medical staff found out.
But the running accusation is that his staff willfully held information from them.
I agree here. Leaving him in charge after a possible negligence until a full investigation is undertaken, in my opinion, could bring the university into question as to failure of oversight.
I think UT has egg on our face if we dont at least suspend him.
Would love to get some of the lawyers opinions.
Arva,
You made me spit out my coffee.
The mention of Mr.Scientology always makes me remember when he was on Oprah and had that meltdown jumping on her couch.epper:

You say that, but somehow even my high school coach knew if we werent performing right and he was essentially a one man show. ( Brent Hubbs father I might add)Come on! There's no way in the world for the head coach to know every detail about every player on the sideline which paying to attention to what's happening on the field.
The SEC has procedures in place which take head injuries out of coach's hands.
I've never been a big Butch fan but this is simply a witch-hunt to find ANY reason to fire him.
Do you think they did withhold that info?
Im curious as to whether the staff is falling on the proverbial sword for Butch. If its true that BKs backup wasnt available, did they leave him in because they had no other option?
Not making an accusation. Just trying to find understand how NO ONE knew this kid was suffering from a concussion.
