I read in a post show article that it was a ship’s chain. I didn’t pay attention when I watched it, and agree right that the Night King planned it. I really think Bran is the NK. I have evidence but it would be too long and the nega-GoTs would get pissed.

Bran is not the NK...imo.

Does anyone else feel like Tom hanks on Cast Away. We've been stranded on this island (ut football) and were trying to build our raft to make it out to sea, just to have a chance, then finally that huge ship (gruden) will rescue us.

In retrospect this sounded better in my head.
