First off, butch won't be coach next year. Period.

Second, I see it as good and bad. On one hand, it legitimizes the rumors to a degree. But at the same time, it gives insight into their angle. Seems clear that nothing is final with JG and those guys are doing their part to put pressure in the right direction.

And who is it your referring to as "those guys" is it gruden side or UT's side

Well, Jayson Swain has been on it for weeks that Butch isn’t the nicey nice guy we think he is. He said just today that when he is finally gone, the stories that will come out of this University will make your hair stand on end. Maybe this is related, maybe not.

I been saying this very same thing for years!

The stories we will hear about Jones will bring a whole new perspective to things - especially about all those "soft" players who supposedly could not take "hard" coaching!

These media guys only start piling on when they know the end is near and that's when the truth comes out.

In the very unlikely event Gruden isn't hired should we put someone in charge of making the Kool aid?

Thought I would post this here. According to this article and some others, ESPN is losing MNF. This would, of course, leave a certain commentator unemployed......Soon?

ESPN Can't Afford Monday Night Football Any More - Outkick the Coverage

You are looking at the wrong website for unbiased news about ESPN.

They haven't lost MNF football yet, and can't lose it until the 2020 season. It's possible Gruden could make a move now because of that possibility, but I doubt it.

It isn't like he couldn't get on somewhere in a similar role.

The ESPN stuff might be a factor, but I believe if Gruden gets back into coaching, it will be because he wants to. Not because he was "forced" out of his job with ESPN.
