okay, i wasn't going to say anything, because it'll bring link or it didn't happen - screenshot - sort of comments, but here it goes. and no, i'm not taking the time to screen shot it and post it. believe me or not.
so the UK game didn't get switched over to the alternate channel here, so i searched and found a replay of the game so i could record the whole game for the collection. it was thursday at like 4:30 am when the replay came on, so later that day, i was recording the part of the broadcast i missed, then picking up in the regular broadcast from saturday night.
at this point, the concussion story had made headlines, right? right.
i just happened to catch this on the ticker of the replay. it said, and i'm paraphrasing, brett kendrick will be unavailable for the southern miss game due to (something like) an indisclosed injury suffered late in the 4th quarter of the KY game.
that was on the ticker on whichever it was ... espn or sec network ... broad as it is long.
my question immediately was, why would espn ... seemingly ... assist in sweeping this under the rug?
