Was sent to Promontory Utah for a few weeks. I had many bad things to say about snowflakes and I used a condescending tone. I can't drive in that stuff.

"Mr Jim has not been the driver of Gruden to UT. Mr Anderson has been the driving force. Currie has the confidence of those guys and key BOT members. Everyone is on the same page, as far as I know, to get the best HC possible. That has been determined to be Jon Gruden at this point."

If it's a done deal, there's not a need to feint or make the AD speed anything. You simply say "Kevin, no need to visit UGA/Clemson/de-commit. He's wrapped up."

As of now all recruits are essentially talking to the current coaches and have no idea what the future holds for Jones. This is from multiple recruits at this point.

I don't even have any clue why you have decided to remove Jones a month ago, that you are letting him and the staff stay in contact with recruits at all. It serves no purpose. I'd be extra mad as a recruit if this were happening to me because it'd mean they were lying to me for weeks on end.

Yes, I agree. This situation could likely be more dynamic than it currently appears. Occam's Razor is one thing, ousting a booster and/or forcing a realignment is a totally different story altogether.

Furthermore, if we believe the narrative, almost 40% of the $ for phase 1 disappears if they buck the Gruden hire.

The $340,000,000 vote was basically a yes to Gruden. All's that's left is to tie up loose ends and make a couple announcements.

"Gruden did not say no. This spin was put out there by the Gruden side and the AD side because they were not happy that it got out that JG and Boosters had already been informally discussing things before Butch had even been fired. JG likes Butch and he is trying to be as respectful to Butch in this process as he can. He wants to make it clear he did not campaign for this job and he was approached by UT people, not the other way around. JG is a classy guy, he is trying to adhere to an unwritten code of conduct between coaches and friends.

As UT fans we should know about this better than anyone. Fulmer \ Majors ring a bell? JG wants this process to play out in a respectful manner. He never said no, that is complete bullsh!t."

Have you ever stopped and considered that this is one of the stipulations from the Gruden side? A stipulation that Jones finish out the season if Jones wants to and finish this stuff up after the season wraps up? I am ok with losing Mays or any other recruit if it means it contributes to getting the Gruden thing done.

Was told differently that he didn't say no initially, but it definitely wasn't because he was afraid to fail here.

I’m not a millennial either. I get tired of entitlement ruling the country. Equality and transparency? What does that even mean??? Sounds made up.
Let’s bring it back to this thread. Too many people feel entitled to information and come in here calling people out when they don’t get it or when it isn’t what they want to hear when they want to hear it. Information is presented and you live with it. “Oh Beav, please drop us a nugget!” Or “Hey Boro, have you heard anything today even though you said 62 times already you haven’t?” Or every time something happens, you can actually hear the panic attacks reverberate across the board. So let’s say this: Im equally as disappointed in our team this year as you but in my transparency, I believe it’ll get better-soon.
