No need. I just think that cakes, venue signs, people at other games using signs, calling for a coaches firing is incredibly dumb. It's going to happen, we all know it is.

I'm in agreement that it's time to move on.That said, the morons that make and carry signs to other stadiums that say "Fire Butch Jones" should get a ****ing life.

You embarrass the Orange and White.

Flame away.

Butch vs Mizzou
Majors vs LSU
Fulmer vs VU

Fulmer hands the keys over to Gruden when the clock hits 0.00...

Curse broke

Go Vols

Earlier today my television channel happened to be on a football show called Paul Finebaum Show.....I do not know how it got on this station as I am not familiar at all with this program.

Finebaum, his lady counterpart Laura, and reporter Barrett Sallee discussed coaches for Tennessee. Barrett Sallee mentioned Chad Morris and Dan Mullen. Sallee said very little about Morris, but felt Dan Mullen would be the next Tennessee coach. Finebaum and Laura discussed Chip Kelley and Jon Gruden as the next Tennessee coach. Both felt Chip would end up at either Tennessee or UCLA, and that Tennessee would be the only job Chip would take in the SEC. Oddly enough, both Finebaum and Laura agreed Jon is a real possibility. Finebaum said "an inner-circle" of boosters wants Jon and are willing to pay to get him. Both Finebaum and Laura felt recruits [especially quarterbacks] would line up to play for Jon and coaches as well would line up to coach with Jon. Also, both felt Jon would be the best recruit "closer" [or one of the best---Saban] in college football.

Again, I do not know anything about this show including the hosts and guest reporter.......I do not know if any are credible or not.

SIAP.. Poster on VQ "ChattaVol"

"Gruden absolutely met with an NCAA Compliance official for 5 hours at his home in Tampa about two weeks ago. This is fact 100%, no question about it"

Gruden seems like the kind of guy that if he went to a HS football game to recruit a player, he would not only be there to recruit the player, but watch the game and see what kind of new wrinkles he could pick up.

Off topic, but no way I’m going out in the other threads and don’t wanna start a new one....

Does anyone know if butch’s Cincy teams had lots of injuries as consistently as the teams he’s had here?

I can't help but think there is something more than just bad luck at work with the injuries.

Maaaaaaaan. I lurked during Gruden watch 2012. I think all this smoke filling up the board is because there is a huge ass fire somewhere. Guys... we might seriously get Gruden.

I can't tell if you are being facetious or serious. Either way I loved this post.

I heard Gruden owns land in TN and his wife us a former UT Cheerleader.

Come on. Pay your dues and read the thread before posting. LOL

It's like people just heard about Gruden today, saw a thread titled Gruden 29, and thought "Im about to blow these people's minds!"

His firm is ran by his wife and himself. They manage ~$2.5M of other folks money.

They probably pull in as much as a TVA employee on an annual basis - tbh

That’s why I ask — why does his opinion matter? Tennessee Wesleyan Grad to boot.

Lol this. If 2.5m is true - 1% mgmt fee is 25k. An egregious 2% is 50k. Fwiw, nobody is worth 2%.

I'm not some big poster or anyone "in the know". I do read the pages before posting, tho. Because I get annoyed reading thru all the pages and half of posts on them are people posting **** that we all heard 50 pages ago. They add SIAP to their post. I get that you might not know that it was already posted but THINK for a second. If there is ANYTHING relevant to Gruden and Tennessee... we already know. If you feel you have to add SIAP to a post, then just don't post it. I assure you...we already know about it. I'm not trying to complain or sound mean but seriously. If its important or sounds important.. we already know.

Seriously? I also heard his son goes to UT too! Also heard from a friend that they read something about Gruden calling a family meeting to discuss the UT coaching job. Small world, huh?
