Y’all need to take a higher level view as to why WNML is taking the across the board stance it is.

It’s not “state sponsored” and they aren’t “feeding from the AD”.

They are trying to hold market share.

Knoxville is extremely competitive with multiple stations and personalities competing for limited advertisements and your eyes.

WNML decided instead of trying to “scoop” or “pump” a story - they would build their brand on “facts, not rumors” — surely youve heard the branding.

In 2012 where was Ainge? Was he at WNML? No.

He is basically saying that he pumped for attention but he had no clue. Implying that others are currently doing the same.

WNML will rarely be the first to break a story, but they are making damn sure that when they do, it is correct.

So just take it with a grain of salt. No spectulation from WNML will ever occur

Interesting perspective. I can see it.

I wish they would just get it over with now. I'm tired of see Butch's tomatoe face on the sideline. He lacks eye discipline.

The only thing I hear on WNML are commercial breaks and old men getting offended if you don't agree with their point of view. Verbal attacks of callers and sunshine pumping.

^This!^ I try to skimm or read every post because I never know when I might miss a nugget if I don't. I guess I'm a bit compulsive, huh?

I'll want to comment on something but I'm 23 pages behind (50 ppp) so I don't. I know when I get to what I posted, it will be totally out of context, or the question will already have already been posted and answered, or 4 other people will have already posted the same information!

I've become a lurker instead of a participant but I'm here y'all!

SOON!

I'm totally with you!

That would be incorrect... ‘Boro has been very complimentary of Erik and has expressed a friendship with him because of EA’s time and encouragement for ‘
Boro, Jr.

Correct. I know him. His influence on my son has been immeasurable, and I think the world of him. I'm having trouble biting my tongue about some of these comments.

He's a great guy....doing a job. He and I don't talk about Grumors.

A sports guy from Missouri called into the Swain show to talk about our opponent this weekend and also discussed Gruden some. Sports guy from Missouri wanted to know why he'd be a good college coach (sounds like he was related to some of the nega-grudes on here).

He went on to say the way to score a bunch of points against Missouri was to go max protect, send only two out in routes.............their secondary defense is THAT bad. Swain responded by saying Butch was probably listening, but would just do his own thing (paraphrasing).

Would be a totally "Butch" thing to do, try and outsmart the smart plan......... Swain was dead on.

Ainge was full Gruden in 2012 and probably like most of us felt like an ass it didn't happen. His stance is more responsible in 2017 because he's changed to 1180 and doesn't play the black sheep anymore.

But Ainge is out here trying to make bets with people and sensationalise it in the opposite direction.

I'm disappointed that it took me this long to get accused of that.

Anybody smell smoke?

I don't get why Butch doesn't keep a tight end in for blocking to help keep our QBs from getting hammered. And if you do go with just five blockers, at least develop some sort of rhythmic quick passing game.
