Why? It’s proven the Butch’s system sucks and there likely isn’t enough time to change it and get players coached up correctly. Would you want the losses attached to your name as interim or just let those L’s stay attached to Butch?

They are going to let him go 3-9.... I'm done waiting for a mid-season firing. I'm just going to assume it happens after Vandy and if I'm wrong it will be a pleasant surprise.

Aye. It is painfully obvious now. Doesn't really change anything either way if you fire him now. Everybody knows he won't be the coach here next year. Unless you have a coach lined up, ready to be announced, you're not really gonna help recruiting in any way.

The 10-30 and 10-31 people are FOS, tho. That's for sure.

Sounded to me like Butch wants out, but isn't going to resign. Gonna force Currie to fire him.

By saying he had absolute support from Currie just adds more pressure on Currie to make a move faster.

Whether he knows he's out or not, it still doesn't change the fact that Volnation is PISSED and will let it be known on Saturday.

I say again...

AD's silence is DEAFENING and it is beyond reason they don't see it.
