I don't know for sure this time, but I do know in 2012 Haslam was on board with Gruden and his resources were used to court Gruden. I suspect it's the same this time. So I'm not sure he's the holdup here.

Then why do we always hear different? Well I have, unless I've misread. Or is that what the AD wants/wanted us to think, hence the booster/beaver thing, and they're forcing the University's hand?

I don't understand guys, how come currie hasn't come out and stated anything? If butch is truly gone then he is flat out lying to the fan base and recruits which will be much worse in the long run. I'm extremely disappointed right now. Every time something gets close to fruition it comeetely sh**s on us! Why would somebody be afraid to take the interim position it just doesn't make sense to me. There's not going to be 70k fans this week
