Understand that Saban wasn’t Bama’s number one. They actually hired Rich Rod and that deal fell through at the very last minute. Moore was sent to Miami as a Hail Mary.

The "insiders" certainly failed miserably last time. Didn't predict a damn thing right. I'll never forget seeing Dave hart drive jones to the university from the airport on tv. My heart was broken

Most insiders were shocked. Original deal fell through last second.

Gruden wants to be our coach, the money, and the requirements are there. Boosters have both a carrot and a stick for the AD. The stick is big enough to ensure that the AD will take the carrot hence my 100% confidence.

And for the folks who want to hyper analyze everything I say-

Carrot = Gruden paid for by boosters + all of the additional revenue Gruden brings to UT.

Stick = Completely cutting off donations and support to the university worth many millions + decreases in football revenue because Volnation is apathetic.

I am not going to flame DTO, it's late. He got a text. I wish it had been more detailed, but I have to think it's Jones he is referring too. Trying to stay as grounded as I can until there is reason not to be. GET IT DONE!!!! SOON VERY VERY SOON!!!!!!!!!!
