At least Mcelwain stood up like a man and was brutally honest.More tban I can say for our snakeoil salesman

yea at this point, its not about gruden. its about just giving a **** about the program in general

Probably has more to do with how irrelevant we are right now more than anything.

We have been baited into gullible patience by recruiting and futile hope and administration turnover. Most of us saw the sham in the 2015 season. Our media is either being controlled by Butch, or they lack the balls it takes to be in their position. To hear the humility and honesty in Jim McElwains press conference as well as the media asking the tough questions was refreshing. Not to mention the quick and decisive action from the administration to start the wheels in motion to remove the man that did win the east twice. They were not fooled. Again...refreshing. Man... f*** Florida.

Well at this point it is about landing Gruden, but I am not going to freak out yet because Jones hasn't been fired tonight. At some point tomorrow I expect to at least here something leaked out or for Tennessee AD to set a conference for Monday. Now I would be surprised if nothing happened by then. Let's get this done, and SOON!!!! Get it done UT. VERY SOON!!!!!!

Anyone else notice how ESPN didn’t say a word about Butch’s job security after the game, but went on a whole rant about Florida firing McElwain with cause?

They know... and they’ve been told not to comment.

Yes! He was humble, contrite, and not making his case. He stated he was proud of his time yet talked about the standard and spoke well of UF. (even though he said a few days ago he had death threats, so...)

"Butch taped his TV show in Lexington following the game and did not ride back with the team. He is currently riding back in a small group. That’s standard procedure for a night road game in recent years.

As Brent stated in another thread, having spoke with a few people following the game, we don’t believe at this time anything will happen tomorrow. Obviously if Currie takes the right kind of heat then it could change."
