No idea why everyone wants a new coach. CBJ is a future hall of famer. We are having a down year but we are young. Quit living in the past, 1-0 this week or next week and we can start to build this back brick by brick. An inside source told me that many of the young guys were getting plenty of leadership reps this week and he can sense a storm brewing. We will be back and CBJ will lead us to the mountain top. Have faith vol fans. Soon!

I'm questioning whether DocVol called Butch leaving after Kentucky because I saw someone say that before, and when I looked through his posts, I saw him say something that wasn't quite what people were attributing to him.

I could be wrong though, info moves quick in this thread.

It's fine to be skeptical, but you'll need to do some major Bayesian updating on your Gruden meter if TN wins tonight. Because Butch is gone either way.

I totally believe he is gone either way but we win tonight it will not be this upcoming week. He wants out as bad as we want him out.

👍🏼 Never used “immediately” after but still feel good in what I was told about after the Kentucky game, win or loss.

Meaning could be after the game, Sunday or Monday. But Kentucky = Butch’s last game.

As many have noted or alluded to, things have moved in a very positive direction over the last 36-48 hours. It was mostly done by mid-week but there have been issues to figure out, that are unique to Gruden and his situation. This has been very different than most searches. The ESPN angle, endorsements and assembling an entire staff, to name a few.

Things are progressing nicely. Still hesitant to give it a 100% yet just because crazier things have happened, but be patient with it in the coming days and weeks.

And for goodness sake, please don't pull for Kentucky today. To do so would be to abandon these players who have given so much. They're fighting for a bowl. I know we may not be satisfied with the Liberty Bowl, but for these kids that's the goal now. Get to a bowl game. I, for one, hope they get it.

so we know, for sure, absolutely, positively, 100%, that Butch is gone after this game, win or lose?

Yes. Docvol (The good one) has guaranteed it several times. Says a family member with esq behind his name worked on it.
