I’m sure there are. I don’t doubt, if he wants to be our coach, they are working through contract details. That would fit under my “if you want to, you figure it out” statement. But I do not believe he is on the fence and we are trying to entice him. He either wants to be our coach or not. In my opinion.

I agree and think they are working through those details. I also think during these negotiating, they tackle the largest things first. Obviously, the money and money for assistants would top the list. Then I think endorsement would be huge considering how many and the type he has. I think they've made it past the big things and are working the minor details now. Is it a done deal? I don't thing so. But, I do think it's close. All JMO.

When skimming, always try to catch your posts.
Really respect that you're skeptical but don't try to be a wet blanket. I'm very skeptical also but have absolutely no desire to come in and be a **** like some others. I love these threads and the mood they bring. Watching preacher go from struggling to post a gif, to taking over the giffing world, has been 1 of the greatest VN moments that I've seen.
No idea why anyone would want to eff that up.
Don't have to be a Grudenite to know that these threads are the best thing on VN in years.

I found my way in here just to troll a couple of individuals, more just to give them a hard time than troll, about something that really had nothing to do with Gruden. I did, then let it go.

I did try to make it clear that I don't think Gruden is possible but..... He would be my first choice and it ain't even close. I think questioning his ability to coach college and do well is laughable.

If he actually ended up here, I would be the first one here, in this thread, to admit being wrong. I do not think it's silly or stupid to believe it is possible.
