I am ready to spend what i have to get us back there...and I can assure you there are other folks with the resources to do so that are in the same boat. The problem is when some of those people who give those resources expect and sometime demand to be involved in all the major decisions. That only works when there is 1 person making the calls.......too many cooks in the kitchen is a great saying...and one that holds true in university athletic programs.

Atlanta Vol....just curious...”if or when” it gets done...how many people will probably know 100 percent before it’s announced ?We talking like 5 or 100 people?

Would bring an interesting twist to the rivalry. Sort of like when Pitino went to coach Louisville years after leaving Kentucky. Except Pitino actually accomplished something at UK

But the level of hate and disgust would be similar! Would be good TV.

I agree. I think the SEC slipping in being the toughest conference is due to not having the coaches like they use to have. Good coaching will equal a dominate conference again.

AV I was blessed with a smart driven kid who is a PM scholar and I was lucky enough to hang around the guy for a couple of hours. PM is the most down to earth guy ever. Im sure it would be a blast to have a few cold suds with him and hear some good stories.

I agree. It would be a blast! At least we'd have a chance to actually be a rival to Florida's, Georgia's, and Bama's instead of having to remember how fun it used to be in our rivalries.

Man it is crazy how we are hearing no offer, rejected offer, done deal, never interested, keeping Butch, and everything else under the sun. Luckily, I choose to believe. Soon.
