Hey SFD, who else in here is a Chattanooga Grudenite? MTNVol and SignalMtnVol I think are both on the train.

Going to be in town the week of 11/29, if Gruden is on board by then, we should all meet up and celebrate.

I get that. It's all about the motive to me. Does it matter much? No. It does help pass the time. He could be a great guy and I hope what he says is truth, because I don't want to have to settle for another Butch. I hope MIT keeps bringing the Grude news and doing admirable things for virtually anyone. Here's to the Grumors becoming reality. :rock:

I could tell you that MIT is my fake account. And you couldn't disprove me. None of us can prove anything - otherwise we would all be celebrating.

It does make sense though. I will give you that. However, there is a small percent chance that he does become coach. Lets say 10%. They set the odds so high, that the amount the company would have to pay out would be astronomical if it happened. They would never bluff on a coach, unless they had real insider information - which a gambling company would not...

Exactly... Regardless of whatever "motive" people want to believe the Beaver had/has, I just don't believe he would've passed the "Volnation Vetting" process to the LETTER for days. I mean, the dude had a correct response to every single thing that was asked of him..

Whether you choose to believe the information coming out of his mouth is up to each individual. But I don't think anyone can deny the man is no "phony".

I'm with you. I don't believe he even mentioned it until someone asked him about it? Hard to remember now. At one point or another though I remember several of our "Well Respected" posters mentioned that the information they were hearing from DIFFERENT SOURCES THAN BEAVER was in line with what he was saying.

I don't know that even with the resources that would be available to someone trying to someone trying to influence a betting line that he could've still been as legit as he was over and over throughout the "vetting process" he went through on here.

If he was trying to influence the bets, why would the odds change? Would the site not keep the odds the same to encourage more bets? I don't gamble but my understanding is the odds change to keep money evenly betted to minimize the risk.

Gary Haskew was my friend and there is still a very large void in sport talk radio in this town. He would love these Grumors though.
