I’m guessing you’re kidding but I’ll still say, that would be a horrible plan. Sure, Gruden is a long shot so he may think it’s safe but the risk would be tremendous. He would owe a **** ton of money if Gruden was then announced as the new coach. 20/1 odds to start? Even now at 6/1, he would stand to lose a fortune if he was wrong.

I think he does as long as it’s here...unfortunately Haslams and their puppet JC won’t let him though. Their ego is too big and they don’t want a big name stealing the spotlight. Sad.

Crypt Keeper....This is my simple response to those that say Gruden couldn’t deal with the craziness that is Vols football.

Everything college coaching could throw at him is lightweight compared to working for the Crypt Keeper in the Black Hole.

Meh. Are you guys proliferating or something? You seem to pop up faster than you can be exterminated.

Truth is you have no more information than Joe Q Public. We're here because optimistically we believe and have some grounds for that optimism, we have hope that we can achieve something worthy of our programs history, perhaps even transcend it.

There's plenty of threads where you can debate the credits of one mediocre coach or another. This is not it.
