Property ownership is publicly available information, but Knox county is fairly slow compared to other local counties and they typically take between 6-8 weeks to update the documents online.
Here is where you would look it up: Property Lookup
If there is a real estate agent or real estate appraiser on the thread, they could look in the county MLS site. Some counties have the purchaser's name listed but some don't. The MLS site will require a login and password. A lot of times public records won't reflect the purchaser until the next tax year comes around.
I was told today that Gruden purchased some property in Strawberry Plains very recently... maybe less than a month ago but have been unable to confirm... do you have anyway to find out?
You didnt marginalize. You outright discarded it. When someone immediately denies things because others have information they dont, well that my friend, is exactly what ignorance looks like. Im not calling you ignorant. Your outright refusal of information was an ignorant act though.
If you really sat back and thought about the info provided. I dont see how you can rationalize us having a better shot at him in 12. Thats truly what triggered me.
I tend to talk down to people who say ignorant things and I apologize. Im not trying to be mean. If you would like to give me logical reasons why you feel we had a better shot in 12. I would love to hear them and promise to strive for a respectful conversation.
None of that he said she said stuff though, because I assure you, none of my opinions are based on any of that.
Its all my opinion. I am not marginalizing anything intentionally. I know a lot more about 2012 than this time around and maybe people are more keyed in than the former players and members of the media I know.
In 2012 I was told by active members of the AD that there was an agreement in principle worked out and they were just ironing out the details regarding staff allowances and control. I believe control is the ONLY reason he was not hired in 2012. I think he has or will be approched again with this vacancy but it is my opinion that is as far as it will or has gotten.
Personally I no longer view things posted on an internet forum as "information" but rather "opinions" or "rumors". I would LOVE to see Gruden coach here but when everyone you know scoffs at the idea like you just suggested that horses are reptiles it will cause you to develop the opinion I have.
I apologize if I offended anyone with "information" and I am careful, or try very hard to be, in anything I say publicly since anyone with a computer can find out who I am. Hell I was on the Ainge show about 4 hours ago and posted about it in this very thread. He often speaks of me and we are not just business partners we are good friends. I was at Butches "Meet and Greet" when he was hired, stood on the sidelines at his first OW game with my family. Not bragging at all because it was all because of where I work that these things happened not because of who I am. None the less lasting friendships formed with people whose opinions I respect greater than an anonymous forum source.
LWS is the only person on here I put stake in what they post as being accurate and at the pace things change even that can be accurate one day and the furthest thing from the truth the next.
Then Currie risks losing a lot of fans and likely booster money as well.

I honestly don't think that happens, but.... If they were to fire Mac before we fire Butch and we end up with "Coach google my name", no matter who they hire, that will confirm what a cluster fug our administration truly is.
