First time poster but long time lurker. How can we even think Vol Nugs is legitimate? I am going to send them something about the Haslam plane and McGhee Tyson airport. I have never went to UT, I do not live in Tennessee, and I do not know anyone that works for the university. If the info pops up then I think that is all you need to know.

It isn't 'legitimate." It only finds outside rumors and tweets them out. I don't think there is any vetting involved.

In any event, nothing posted there has become reality. That are batting 0.000.

what is you guys take on the Knoxville/Nashville thing. Im moving down there, my job is in both locations, Im 36 years old, 3 kids, not really into the party scene, Ive been thinking knoxville is the better for family, you guys have any thoughts on it?

Just moved to Knoxville from Nashville area in June. Knoxville is a much better place to live and raise a family in my opinion. Knoxville has much more of a small town vibe and reminds me of home back in the 70s and 80s. Middle Tennessee has around 300 people a day moving in and it creates over crowded roads, schools, waits at good restaurants, etc.

For a Vols fan, Knoxville is the bomb!

With as many people as are moving into Nashville, I think this is a fairly easy city to assimilate into right now. When I was growing up here, you'd get some sideways looks if you were not a multi-generational native. There's still a little bit of that in a particular area but things are mostly wide open here as far as getting involved. I would definitely study hard on where to live in the Nashville area of you plan to send your children to public school.

Murfreesboro is growing and was rated as a top 10 city in America to raise a family not to mention Mt Juliet is booming as well. But Knoxville will always be home.

Aaaahhhhheeeeemmmm....

While everyone is in here questioning whether or not Butch can/should be the next ole miss coach, you all missed a key point.

If ole miss contacted sexton about him during the season and still fairly early, doesn't that mean butch is no longer contractually bound to the university of Tennessee?

Section 3.3.3 speaks to this exact situation. I wish he could be fired or released for this but it simple isn't the case. He only has to let them know about it.
