Aaaahhhhheeeeemmmm....

While everyone is in here questioning whether or not Butch can/should be the next ole miss coach, you all missed a key point.

If ole miss contacted sexton about him during the season and still fairly early, doesn't that mean butch is no longer contractually bound to the university of Tennessee?

I'd think agents can talk to whoever they want without any breach of contract. Likewise with coaching search firms.

No, there's a difference in contact between agents and coaches themselves. You best believe we're doing the same thing. However, there is a thin line that borders tampering, and most know where that line is.

Of course there is a difference, but leaking it is a different thing.

As I have stated in the past, if Alabama played by the same rules as other teams in the SEC their record would be more like Auburn, Georgia, or LSU. Bear Bryant was a cheater everywhere he went and took that tradition back to Alabama. Everyone of his disciples, with the exception of Battle, carried on that tradition of cheating.

Bahr learned from coRuppt while at Kentucky. He took thos lessons to heart.

I don't think so. I'm sure a school with an officially posted opening like Ole Miss could contact a coach's agent to gauge possible interest.

shameless bump/quote/repost here

This was probably already answered (I can't keep up!), but I save mine to a Word doc,
 paste it in.
