We are in the same boat, Coasty.
Doyle's Grudometer has dropped to 5% but is subject to change if Lyle Allen is let go in the next 72 hours.
I have little hope of that occuring.

I'd really like to know what the AD thought process is as to why keep butch around any longer after today? Maybe they want a fire/hire type thing

Good Morning Everyone!
I am fixin' to back up to where I left off and try to catch up.

Meanwhile, I updated my gif seminar notes. They're a little more clear and complete.
Here ya go.

1) Select desired gif. giphy.com was recommended to me.
2) right click on gif and select copy image address
3) come back to volnation, and in the regular text box (with all the smiley faces and stuff beside it) type
4) right click in the text box and select paste to insert the image address – important note here, if what you just pasted doesn’t end in .gif, you copied the wrong thing in step 2
5) type
6) submit reply

Sorry guys but talked to my source today... has been right on with every hire.... when I asked him directly about Gruden.... He laughed and said "There is NO WAY that Currie offers Gruden after the last time"

Says that Gruden lead them on last time and them jumped ship at last minute... blames the falling apart of the deal not on Hart, but on the man himself... This is not looking good from my perspective.... Remember... I WANT GRUDEN but this guy has been right on every hire from Kiffin on....

I don't see any plausible way how we don't offer gruden. DTO said we're making a run at him. Maybe he's giving out false info on purpose?

I am trying to hold on to DTO's information and waiting to hear if BORO heard anything new.... but my conversation this morning has me backing up and looking at this

If Lyle is gone in next 72 hrs I may turn around... but I am not as solid as before at all

But really. Just along for the ride. Very few people know what's actually happening, which speaks volumes to the importance of this search. Either you believe specific posters, or you don't. Typically, those who try the hardest have the most to hide - food for thought.

I think it's safe to say
  1. We know Butch is out (exact timing tbd, perhaps as early as Sunday).

  2. We know Tennessee is pursuing Gruden, but as a few have alluded to, until Gruden is formally introduced, there is too much that can change to call it 'done.' I remain skeptical, though optimistic.
  3. We know the power players have all aligned, which increases the likelihood that we get the quality coach we deserve at the University of Tennessee, Gruden or otherwise.

So, what win range would you be happy with next year? I think 9-3 in the regular season would be my floor for year 1. We may still lose to Alabama and Georgia tbh. Curious to see how others feel.

Whatever link you use has to end in .gif or .jpg.

Your link took you to the google page that had the picture but it wasn’t the picture itself. Next time click on image so it’s a page with just that image and copy and paste that link which should end in .gif or .jpg.

Difficult to explain over text, hope that made sense.

So if not Gruden, then who? No offense Coasty, but even the most conservative posters (LWS, Hubbs, etc) have admitted that Currie is going to make Gruden tell him no. That makes me put very little stock in your info. Gruden may not come here, but your info makes it sound like we aren't even going to talk to him which just isn't right.
