I just tried to spoof my test location in that app. I got a list of like a hundred options, that's it. None further away than 223 miles. I'm in Indiana and there was nothing from California on the list.

Nice try but with that app you can pick any server in the Ookla network. Try again. :good!:

16ms ping is pretty damn hard to do from tn to that server imo

Edit: I just did it to LA from JC and it was 86ms..wireless of course which, by the look of his screenshot he is using a mobile.

I don’t think the information he has is legit and is being made up. And comments from last night - specifically implying that he knew the boosters footing the biggest portion of the buyout bill - was complete BS.

That makes sense, good point. Not making everything up just his info. I didn't remember him mentioning the 1 big booster, just a handful of others.

I'm not sure I believe the Beav either. The misuse of your and you're had me skeptical from the start. But I also don't see why some are so bent out of shape. His phone was on PST which wouldn't automatically happen when connecting to VPN. Doubt a fraud would have changed that. The dude is definitely on the west coast.

Exactly... and it would be HIGHLY unusual to get that kind of ping result and speed from a hotel wifi infrastructure.
