Tifwiw but a friend of mine who works at the Telegraph office intercepted a message from Currie's office to Beaty. The friend will probably be angry with me for sharing this but what follows is the email he sent me with the message he intercepted.

Currie: Reaching out to gauge your interest in taking the helm of University of Tennessee gridiron squad. STOP Your resume impressive. STOP Very lucrative offer to be extended upon your expression of interest. STOP

I know there are a lot of names being thrown around right now but I trust this gentleman without question. Keep an eye on this one guys. There's a lot of smoke rising off of this one right now.

Coming down the pike

FWIW, he was looking for homes in Knoxville before the Florida game. He wants his wife and family in Knoxville whether he is coaching at Tennessee or not.

David Beaty??? What about George Quarles? He deserves a shot at UT before this joker! Why don't we have a George Quarles thread? He would kill it here.

You're assuming he cares more about the Browns than the Vols. Yes, the Browns is an actual business, but it stays profitable without having to spend more because Browns fans have proven they will support a terrible product year after year.

True, but usually more NFL talent comes through Tennessee than Cleveland.

I've lived in several different cities, and traveled to a whole lot more, of various sizes. Every one of them had their good parts and bad parts. If you focus on the positive, you can enjoy being almost anywhere.

This "glass is half full" hippy babble isn't going to play around here boy.

Maryville College

Boro, obviously I don't post very often but I have followed your posts for a long time. If you don't mind me asking where did your son play high school ball? I ask because I have a cousin that coached in the Montgomery County school system and now coaches in the Nashville area.

Don't know how many kids he has or where they are in school but my in-laws bought a house 4 states away from home so they (mostly mama) could be near their only child when he went away to college. It happens.

Don't let the 'Boro fool you...we moved back to Knoxville about 6 years ago. He played two years at Farragut, and the Junior and Senior year at HVA. We transferred after an injury/ coaching incident.

I'm originally from middle-TN, still have family in Murfreesboro.

They have been house shopping. Looked at the Governor's house over the weekend. Not sure if that's the one in the listing or not.

I just saw gruden in a Ut visor and a raptor truck. It was possibly the nicest truck I've ever seen. Getting on 40 mm232
We need video feed from dash. this will confirm he is not in NJ 3 days ahead of schedule saying "we shall see" with huge grin to the High School team WR Special teams OL DL coach. Since you are Barney can't you pull him over and ask a few questions for us too?

Pass...

I saw nothing on his record page indicating he was able to recruit complementary individuals with five star hearts while addressing eye discipline issues with the individuals currently on the team.
