When I read the JAV post... why couldn't he get Gruden's name right? It's not John. It's Jon. Did JAV do that for legal rights?

Oregon had been under investigation by the NCAA in connection to a $25,000 payment in 2010 to Willie Lyles and Complete Scouting Services, a Houston-based recruiting service. Lyles, at the time, had connections to an Oregon recruit. The NCAA found that Lyles provided free lodging and cash to a prospect.

The NCAA ruled that Kelly wasn't aware of Lyles' actions but pointed out that, as head coach, Kelly was responsible for ensuring his program was in compliance. Oregon offensive coordinator Mark Helfrich was promoted to head coach in January after Kelly accepted the Eagles job.

Think he did.

The guy can coach, but how much has he grown up since he left. He brought in a fantastic staff but I thought last time he was going to get UT on probation. On the other hand, Lane would not stop until he beat bama and I think he could do it. But since this is the Gruden thread, I'm saying soon.

Said Dooley was the most disrespected, ignorant coach he’d ever seen. Assistants would roll their eyes anytime he tried to coach during a group practice. This was all during the last coaching search. Found it pretty accurate looking back.

But I'm all in on Gruden.

This regarding my post from earlier, I do not know for a fact whether jk callaway or kongbo were a no show. This is along the line as many others in this thread as to what I'm hearing. If indeed they were at practice then disregard that information but the other news is plausible

I'm not bashing you at all because you were just passing on info, but if the NCAA was there today regarding improper benefits from boosters it would be all over national sports news right now. That wouldn't be done quietly. I don't believe any of it until I hear otherwise.

What's the dormady thing? I know he wants to transfer but what's the other problematic thing around him?
