Finebaum said he is our #1 target. To my knowledge we were the problem last time, not Gruden. My guess is that the experience soured him on Tennessee though.

Agreed! I was referring to the "second to none" and "compete with Saban" parts. A little over-exaggeration

He said that he was told by 2 people with ties to the program that he trusts that Gruden was the #1 target and they were prepared to break the bank to go all in this time.

Peterson isn't leaving the west coast. He has a special needs child that gets help from a specialist out there.

That was the breaking news when he left the show? Sorry, it was hard to piece story together because I saw something about Finebaum having breaking news and leaving show, then Gruden thread revived from dead.
