When Butch gets popped, we should go after a proven winner (Chip Kelly, Bob Stoops, Bobby Petrino, etc.) not a so-so NFL coach who hasn't been on the sidelines in nearly a decade.

I'm sure there are plenty of replies to that guys questions that have been posted... but, he obviously missed them. I'll reply as well, maybe he and others with the same questions will read this and quit asking. Its Jon Gruden. Simple as that. Jon Gruden is light years beyond Butch Jones when it comes to in game coaching, adjustments and decisions. His name and status alone would make recruiting classes be legit better than they already have been the last few years. Probably by a light. Also... its Jon Gruden. The minute he becomes the head coach... every sports outlet will be talking about it. That will make recruits talk about it. These kids in high school watch the NFL... so they've saw Gruden. Alot. He has an electric personality that people just love. He also knows football... knows it very well. He also loves Tennessee. In short, ladies and gentleman... I'm not saying Gruden would have us in the national championship game in 2 seasons, but he damn sure would have us competing hard in the SEC... and people would notice.

Forgot to mention that Gruden really would be fantastic at QB development. Which makes top QB prospects look very hard at the fact that playing for Gruden will help their longterm interest at becoming an NFL QB.
