It's much more than Butch winning out. The state of the program is hurting. Team continuity is a mess. Players aren't buying Butch's bs. Butch can no longer be an effective coach at all.

Admin and donors see this and know it.

It's lost...and he's not getting it back. The stories that will come out afterward may make Dooley look well adjusted.

The crazy thing is that he has traveled the country and visited several college campuses, learning new things. New offenses. Wrinkles that coaches are using. Different philosophies.

It wouldn't surprise me that he would have some new offense in mind.

I have been told Butch is done, just a matter of when but not sure if we get Gruden or not..... have heard they are willing to pay for a top notch coach this time....

I only have one gut I can ask and he is not that reliable ...... kinda like Coasty
