It's much more than Butch winning out. The state of the program is hurting. Team continuity is a mess. Players aren't buying Butch's bs. Butch can no longer be an effective coach at all.
Admin and donors see this and know it.
I picture him at this point like a mad scientist...sitting in a dark film room somewhere, concocting a new, devious, never-before-seen, unstoppable hybrid offense. Defenses will look at it, and not know what to do. Records will fall, dreams will be crushed. The college football landscape will be laid waste and painted Orange.
But that's just me.
The crazy thing is that he has traveled the country and visited several college campuses, learning new things. New offenses. Wrinkles that coaches are using. Different philosophies.
It wouldn't surprise me that he would have some new offense in mind.

Dont know who the coach will be, all I know is that Butch is done.
