Winning out and beating Bama is the only thing that will change my mind at this point.

Just for second, imagine that happened. The team wins every game for the rest of the season. Based on what you’ve observed for the past four years and this season up until now, why would you think it was the result of anything apart from good luck? Would it not take more than that? Would you not have to believe some switch had been flipped? Some bulb had lit?

Even Iif this team won out, what would lead you to believe that it wouldn’t be right back where it’s been next year?

Well Nick Sabans win percentage with the Dolphins was .469%. So I guess Bama shouldn't have hired him. Just saying. NFL production and college don't necessarily translate.

Saban had already proven he could win at the college level.

I understand that. But your point was based on NFL results. I understand we don't have a resume of Gruden as a HC in college but just cause he didn't have consist success in pros doesn't mean he wouldn't be a good coach here. I understand where you're coming from and respect your opinion.

Me personally I feel he would do really well here. I trust he would hire high level coordinators and assistants and let them do their job. I believe he would recruit really well. Do I think he's a slam dunk? No but he's still in tier A! And he's a Tenn guy.
