I live in Alabama...not a Bammer...born and raised in Tennessee and a VFL. I witnessed a few years ago down here the exact same thing we are going through now. I was never on line and didn't really care who the Bammers hired, but it was the talk anytime there were two more Bammers together..."what the hell is Mal Moore doing, fire Mal Moore, Mal Moore has to go...etc" then right after the first of the year St. Nick came walking out of the fog and well, we know the rest of the story. Hopefully we will see a similar event but with even greater results occur in Knoxville...Make us Proud(er) Hart...paint the South orange and white.

Don't harass Jones. It's not his fault he's being pursued. If someone offered you a job making 2mil with a huge buyout if you failed you'd take it too. It's not his fault his boss is a moron.

This is true, however...speculation he turned down the Colorado job to be in the hunt for the Tennessee job...

Plus, if the fans are so against this hire, that should factor into the calculus of his decision...

Everyone forgets the year we destroyed Cinci they actually IMPROVED throughout the season after their loss to UT..

Just imagine of we would have improved this year after the NC State game.

With the 22nd being the last MNF game could Gruden be announced that following Sunday? With all the talk early on wanting UT to make it to a bowl game thus allowing Gruden time to finish his current job, the 23rd would line up with that time line.

You should all relax. We aren't getting anyone except Gruden. This timeline stuff isn't really about MNF. The people setting the timeline likely don't even realize that they are setting it. We have to go through all of this for it to come.
