While this place was down i was looking at Jones a little bit and while he seems like a stand up coach and all, He is a coach that has come into programs that have already been set up time and time again and this is what scares me the most about his name being thrown around he has basically coached off brain kelly's coat tails during his coaching career

Butch Jones to Wisconsin makes a lot more sense than Jones to UT.

They'd be getting an average/mediocre coach at pretty much a moment's notice.

Luckier than we were when we hired Dooley for sure.

Of course I am interested in what happens. I just cannot..will not... put my faith in a few guys who drive-by with random, non-specific 'information'.

And, yes, Gruden would be THE slam dunk, but the last few days have made me realize Hart may be the most inept AD out there, and Butch Jones will probably be our coach.

I don't want to be negative and I sure as hell do not want a bottom-feeder, but I don't see this playing out any other way than Tennessee continuing to be a laughingstock....

I have a strong feeling we're about to win our version of the National Championship (Jones to Wisconsin or denial) in about 3 hours.

I can also continue to point and laugh at the Knoxville media which is oh so much fun.

I was on the road all day yesterday and I listened to sirrus CFB shows and all of them except finebaum said Tn needs to go with Fulmer. Said Tn isn't getting Gruden which didn't surprise me

With all the money we supposedly offered Strong, (and supposing there is no Gruden) there HAS to be someone better then the Cincinnati coach that Dooley thumped and wins off the Notre Dame coach's coattails.

Fulmer/Chavis/Chaney is far better than anything mentioned that I've heard besides Gruden-- added in with Tee Martin/Graham etc. At least they are Tennessee Guys. Bamma Hart won't even consider that, I'm sure.
