Relax, it’s still Gruden. All we are doing is making every other college in America spend more for their coaches.

I have to keep reminding myself that Hart didn't have to do very much at FSU while he was there. Sure, he hired Fisher to come in and be a coach in waiting. I was living in Tallahassee at the time and at the time it really was a stupid move. Bowden was a lame duck coach and this caused a lot of tension between coaches who had answered to Bowden all those years and now had to listen to this new guy and also honor Bowden at the same time. Before this, he never really had to make any high caliber hires. Basketball there is a joke. They don't even have their own arena for Gods sake. They share it with Leon County. So no pressure for him on that end. The baseball coach has been there forever. I just think he is over his head in my opinion. I'm really am beginning to think he has no clue.

butch jones hasnt beat anyone of any importance at cincy.. not one top 25 win at cincy.. if we hire jones we are basically hiring another dooley

How the **** is Butch Jones way better than keeping Dooley? Now we have to pay dool's buyout plus this moron $3.5MM. And all we get is another less than mediocre coach.

Gruden or death to Hart.

I don't believe this at all about Butch Jones. I think somebody is blowing smoke up gullible vol fans azz. But if they do I am finished going to Neyland until hart is gone. Bama has screwed us enough with Saban rejects besides Lance Thompson that went back to bama. Give me Gruden Dave Fart.

I refuse to believe it. When we fired dooley, I was my understanding that we would have a Coach of the Year kind of hire...why does UT have to settle yet again? I have to think this is an AD problem

Bcarter you are wrong here...we don't have to make a decision this week...if we don't get Gruden we can live with that...a mediocre hire like jones just keeps us on the same treadmill and in 3-4 years we are having the same conversation..."who is the new coach gonna be?"...why rush?
