Does anyone happen to believe that these socalled "control" issues that Gruden would not originally agree to are not with Gruden? But with UT and this apparent academic/athletic feud within the school? As such, perhaps it is the reason why every one of these coaches is turning us down, and Hart knows it? This could have legs IMO.

I am usually very positive about the Vols but I seriously think we are about to witness the quick death of our previously known football program. There are too many things to be fixed!

Guys, this whole thing points to nothing other than Gruden. With the dumpster fire that happened today and the University becoming a laughing stock, they would have offered the job to anybody today and had a coach from a mid-major. This is nothing more than they are working on something BIG. Be patient, again, Saban was not hired until January

Pearl did some studio work, but he wasn't in the booth providing analysis. Different situations...

Losing my mind, but being laughed at by all my Alabama and Auburn friends is taking it's toll, but here it goes.

Who better to string along on a contract negotiation than a coach with no agent...there, I said it
