Yay4Bray said it was a done deal, and would be announced before the sec championship. You think the AD scripted this? Lets get rejected 3 times, then we'll bring in Gruden! Go tell Yay4Bray! Lol

Poster on VQ told this story about the escrow money, like what orangeslice mentioned...

I was sitting in my biology class about an hour ago waiting to take a test and was talking UT football, specifically the coaching search, to a good buddy of mine and when I brought up my theory on the Grumors a guy that sits in front of me turned around and chimed in. We talked about it for a few minutes and then he proceeded to show me a text he had received that said,

"I tailgate with Thunder's cousin. He called me Saturday and told me that the escrow account set up by the boosters still had the money in it. The money was for Gruden and only Gruden, which is why it went to escrow. If Gruden was dead, the money would be back in the boosters' hands. As of yesterday, the AD was asking for more money. There's only one person you need more money for."

Just to clarify, I have no idea who Thunder is. This guy has sat in a desk directly in front of mine for the past 4 months and this is maybe the second time we have ever spoken, so I have no clue who he knows or if it's credible, but it does make sense and trust me when I say that he was totally sold on what he was sharing with me. Also, if anyone can describe what an ESCROW is it would be greatly appreciated because I have no idea what that is either.

I took a picture of the text message on his phone so this is word for word what it said. If it needs to be shared it can be. Also I checked the name it was sent to him from on facebook and the guy is a 2010 UT engineering grad. Doesn't mean anything but that he actually exists. Anyways hopefully this can clear some things up.

I'd like to point out something about Rucker.

During Hart's Dooley firing presser, Rucker asked a question, and Hart smirked and gave him an answer. I don't remember the question or the answer, just that Hart though his demeanor knew that Rucker was a clown.

I would not be a bit surprised if Rucker is intentionally being fed garbage because Hart knows he is a joke.

We got away from what was important, VFLs in important positions who sacrificed, bled, and cried for this University...who would have a real vested interest in success...who would see failure as not an option.

So now that VN seems stable enough to post - did ANYTHING happen since yesterday?

I know the two HS Coaches resigned and that Yay4Bray, Boro, and OldVol are still around and doing lots of "!!!"

sheezy, are you a gruden believer or not? Your mood swings are making it hard to pin point your opinion on all of this.

I find most the folks on here to be more than solid...usually the "correct-a-vols" are also the ones pissing on ANY good news, moaning about everything having to do with UT, and just overall suck as interactive members of the community...

For those fine people Freak inserted an ignore feature.

I kinda agree. And, as far as that "3 denials" thing goes, if you're going to hold to the idea that gruden is the guy, then ofcourse there will be 3 denials...that goes without saying. All signs were pointing to the fact that those decisions would be made yesterday anyway. If we get gruden, I will apologize to y4b (even though I haven't really bashed him...just expressed skepticism)

My man! Exactly. Are we spoon fed infants or can we all not weigh details individually and form our own opinions? All this talk exemplifies bandwagon status...changing names and avi's...does anyone have the spine and self sense to believe anything on their own without drivel from drive by posting? Everyone weigh your own facts.

I saw this on another site last night. Said Grider got the call during the Mr.Football banquet. Supposedly someone close to Grider posted it.
