If Hart things he can win the press conference, I think he's thinking wrong. There's one person, Gruden, who would win the press conference and excite the fans.

I sticking to my line about all the resurfacing rumors last night and today, I gotta see it to believe it. And I don't think I will see it.

Gruden easily could've got in Knoxville yesterday. People were so pre-occupied with Strong they wouldn't even be paying attention to anyone else coming in.

This. All eyes were on Louisville, and there was also a bball game in Virginia that some media were at, so that would have been perfect time. I dont buy that he is in Knoxville at this time, but last night was the perfect opportunity to sneak him in

I have heard some things in the last day from places that would be inside the circle that imply (?) he is in play but I really don't know what to believe. But in case it's not Gruden (my brain says no), there are plenty of really good coaches out there that would hop at the chance...

Some bright coordinators, head coaches at mid majors, etc, are still out there. That's not what we dreamed of, but it's not like there NO coaches left out there.

“I always said that if I felt like I needed to do something else I wouldn’t be stubborn,”
Did anyone else find this quote from the Hargis article by Vic Grider interesting? I played against Grider in high school, and I'm not claiming to know anything about him other than this guy is definatley no quiter. The do something else part caught my attention considering he otherwise says he just plans on hanging arround to be the vice principal. It may not be to come to UT but he's up to something IMO

Not interested in Pelini's antics on our sideline. He makes Muschamp look calm and composed.

Hey guys, I just realized something. Gruden always goes on Mike & Mike on Thursday mornings. Go back to that interview last week and listen. Why did he go on yesterday instead?

My percentage is going back up (based on absolutely nothing but desperation)

It is always on Wednesday mornings around 7:15ish

Article from Fansided nailed our current situation right here:

"The Vols coaching search is going through stages: first stage is the stage where you think everybody wants you. You walk into the party, the music is pumping, people are feeling good and you think every sexy, scantly-clad women present wants to bed you. Then they all look at you and walk away like you’re the guys from A Night At the Roxbury and you slowly realize you’re not that great.

Panic mode hasn’t set in and you’re still not ready to settle for the last girl on the bar-line, but you begin to see that could very well be the outcome of of you’re night out. That’s exactly where Tennessee is right now, none of the top-tier women want them, and it’s starting to snowball from there."

Good info. Picture Liper talking to us through a cb radio!

Thanks liper.

My gut tells me we are gonna know by end of business tomorrow who our new coach is. There is too much pressure on hart. He looks like a fool right now and needs to save face some kind of way.

Ok AJeray, time to work your magic. Return of the Grudeye...

Just need a ruffy (money) to even up the odds.

And the boosters have a pocket full.
