I respect that you do not believe Gruden is coming. It makes sense. But why do you keep dropping your dueces all over this thread? Why not spend your time elsewhere and let the people here discuss their possibilities? You're not going to convince anyone of anything at this point. At any rate GBO no matter what happens!!

Leave Bcarter alone. He was once a part of this. He has since decided that it was/not going to happen. He is still good people. I value his opinion even if it goes against what we all hope will happen.

LOL If I'm not mistaken, the 24 hour period started about 52 times now dating back 2 weeks. Yeah it's an awfully long 24 hours. I want Gruden more than anybody I really do. This yay4bray guy and his statements are trollish imo.

So he said 3 coaches would turn us down. Is it really that hard to believe that 3 coaches would turn us down with the state of our program now? What would of been a surprising prediction would of been that no coaches would turn us down.

The mere thought of hiring Fulmer back has me thinking seriously about never wearing orange again or going to another game.. It's not because I dislike Phil either it's more that it would be proof positive, to me, that this university does not care about the football program and has its collective head so far up its ass there is no hope what so ever of it being removed....

After watching this monstrosity for a few years, I am becoming convinced that Fulmer was right about there being some huge administration problems within the University that must be fixed. You might be right, football was taken for granted and the University stopped caring for it's cash cow. I am now left unconvinced that the problem lies solely on Fulmer's shoulders.

We seem to want to put a band aid on a sucking chest wound by creating this coaching carousel. Hire Fulmer back, let's fix these problems and move forward. I would take a Fulmer/Chavis team back on the sidelines over any (and I mean ANY) of the options being thrown around right now.

Let me couch this by saying that I was fully on board with the fire Fulmer train a few years ago. No longer, my friends, no longer.

I keep coming back into this thread just hoping that I am wrong and perhaps something has happened and then one again I say Occams Razor "when you have two competing theories that make exactly the same predictions, the simpler one is the better."

So it's just as likely Hart is a total waste of waste as is Gruden is coming and Hart has manipulated 3 coaches 3 states and the press?

I s it just me or wouldn't you like UT to get a % of the money we have "made" for some coaches during our search. Everybody has been given extensions & raises. The arms race is in full effect.

I agree. Pelini, Davis, Petrino should not even be considered.

I am 100% in agreement with this...if Gruden is not going to happen then I am all in with Fulmer...probably won't happen but I think that is the safest thing for our program right now...and Fulmer has enough clout to help get the administrative stuff turned around...to my understanding Fulmer did not burn bridges with the Big money guys
