why would they these people are the same people that came on the show and said gruden is not coming it's not going to happen the Hargis wrote what he wrote they may not be as confident now but they have to back up there statement however wrong it may be and in the back of there mind they are hoping and praying that this deal does not go through because if it does i would say about 50% of them or more will be run out of town. so they will try to stay as far away from the gruden talks as they can.

Bassilio makes a good point though and It makes me wonder. Why would Tennessee purposefully get embarrassed over and over publicly in order to cover for Gruden and his "timeline"?

UT looks like a horses @ss right now to the entire world.

I think Basilio is right. There is a group that wants Gruden, but they can't get the necessary people on board to make it happen. And, not just Hart and/or Cheek, but other influential boosters as well.

I honestly cannot believe that this is the case.

If (and only saying if for the sake of argument) the Gruden deal does not happen and Hart does not land another big name he will be fired soon after the search is completed!!!!

Also, there's still the hart vs Booster Angle.

I dont believe TB at all when he says the boosters are torn on Gruden.

Again, I'm not relying on any timeframe predictions anymore...Gruden is coming when he's ready...we just have to be patient...

If he doesn't come today, it's not the end all be all...we just gotta be patient...

Somebody with influence has to step up and take the lead here--please!!!

I think it has to start with firing Cheek and Hart, and hiring Tennessee people to take their places.

Because if UT lands Gruden or another Unnamed Unconfirmed Head Coach who is a home run, then it really won't matter. The media will say that there was a method to the madness!!!
