GRUDE morning all! Crazy night last night and a telling article from the TFP on top of Tom Carter resigning as well! The smoke signal is getting taller and I am sure non-believers are second guessing now!

I'm pretty sure Ainge was about to say something about Gruden when he said "we were told that if 4 or 5 guys turn us down that..." then he paused then said how do you get turned down 5 times?

I think he's got a feeling but doesn't want to sound like a moron and get flamed.

It's starting to make sense, because of all the other people involved who are coming in with Gruden. They resign their jobs, they gotta know they're next up somewhere else. If this turns out to be true, this is the genius of Gruden.

Think about it. He doesn't want to be out on the recruiting trail, so he wants to hire regional recruiters, hence the hangup on assistant and staff expenses. He wants to be the closer. What a recruiting model! He wants his coaches to coach and his recruiters to recruit. Brilliant.

Just my opinion, but it's coming into focus.

I don't care what happens. I would gladly have the coaching job turned down by Hilary Clinton if it means we get Gruden. Let's get this done baby!

If waiting to hire Gruden was supposed to make Hart look like he saved the day, then he had better get to it because right now he (and the university) look like total bafoons.

I think I read earlier that someone said the catering staff was put on red alert...has anyone heard anything else from them?

Also, there was also talk about additional security, has anyone heard from the local PD of University PD?

My best advice is leave Ainge and all the other media folks in the dark..... the think the Bible says something like "let them who are ignorant be ignorant still" ha ha ha

You guys ever think about the mention of Jay and Tee meeting up in middle TN yesterday? Maybe others who are on the staff were meeting up there, too. I am expecting when this thing goes down that they are announcing EVERYONE...maybe not, but why do you have to wait for a high school coach to resign before announcing? Can't you just announce JG as HC, then announce the staff later? It has been mentioned that this would be biggest hire in college football history...JG makes that happen easily, but maybe adding to it is announcing the whole staff at one time. Talk about a gigantic BOOM!!!
