Yep, my wife said to me last night that she sure wished they would hire Gruden so she could have her husband back. I laughed and said that it would be worse at least until after recruiting season.

Vic Grider resigned today from a VERY nice HS job.

Could this be the first legit sign that Gruden is actually coming?

Finally back from NY... I have posted a couple of times today but really had difficult time getting on site.
I believe Red Wolf's hunt is coming to end. I saw a UT pickup truck at Food City load with bananas. I took this as a sign.

damn you're worse than a F'n cockroach! You flipped so many damn times on Gruden is coming, he's not coming, back n forth. You even said within a couple minutes in two different post, you hope its Gruden and think he will bring UT back and then said he's not the right man for the job. You also claimed to have inside info and after all that BS, you're clowning other people for saying Gruden is still coming. Do me a favor, change your avi cause every time I read one of your post I start to hate CP.

I love reading this thread. I'm a professional person, well-connected, and a life-long (50ish)fan. Never followed boards like this. I've never thought gruden was coming but i want to believe. My sources are so closed-mouth i can't believe it, but i'd heard early on about dinners with haslam and visits to town that i thought credible. There are things that seem to support a surprise. The Grider resignation has pushed me toward believing. I don't want to but it and this damn thread are making me catch the fever. WE MUST BELIEVE.

Many you know how much I wanted strong. He was barely behind gruden on my wish list. While today was a tough day for me i still firmly believe in tennessee and that has nothing to do with jon gruden.

I have believed in this thread nearly completely up until last friday but today has done nothing but prove that gruden is a distant memory to our powers that be. The only chance this has of playing out with gruden is if the boosters cut the legs out from under hart AND cheek. There is no chance today was part of any smokescreen and anybody that believes that is foolish. If gruden is to be our coach hart/cheek must be overthrown by our boosters. That won't happen IMO but that's the only way today is the positive day many of you suggest.
