This was Hargis' source!! Think about it! I think he will be an assistant on Gruden's staff!! Just speculation, but he would be a guy that Hargis knew, and could have used as a source.

Hargis said he had 3 sources for his article but only used 2 of them. The main one he said he relied on was a coach who had been contacted by Gruden about being an assistant coach for him at TN.

I think there's also a chance that he means the old money wants to see Phil back on the sidelines.

Allan Jones, Check into Cash CEO, is a big time booster and is a close friend of Phil. He desperately wants Fulmer back. Wouldn't surprise me if some of the other boosters share the same sentiment.

Don't want to add to the hysteria but I am hearing good things as well. I just can't sort out if they are part of the rumor mill or truly solid. What I do feel good about saying is that if we miss on Gruden don't be surprised to see Phil come marching home.

I am excited and would be ok either way.......

Said this the other night and got laughed off the board.... CPF still loves Tennessee...this I KNOW, and would do whatever he is asked it he were....

I still have hopes that it is Gruden though

There's nothing new. I think Yay4Bray is dialed in. I don't know him at all...but I heard the same thing he is reporting with so much confidence.

I'm almost positive what I heard was the same things the OG's were exclamation pointing at mid morning. I think I heard it about 45 mins after they did.

Again...it's so hard to come out and say things because of the volatile nature of a board like this...but man, today was very encouraging.

Yay4Bray is the only one brave enough to stick his neck out right now...it's admirable.

Now this is interesting. I've mentioned before, though I don't think anyone paid attention, that I used to work with Vic Griders wife. She always said Vic hoped to reunite with Jon in some capacity. He maintains contact with Gruden. I know this for a fact.

At this point, I can't EXPECT anything...because it has been so easy to waver laterally only holding on to hope at times...even questioning people. But I did hear that, yes...from more than one person. We shall see....but I ain't making promises. I'll leave that to Yay4Bray. He obviously has better connections and bigger gnads than me. But I can live with that.

Told you guys before I will to get into the Phil debate but, don't be surprised to see it happen. A pretty big ground swell has been happening for him since Thanksgiving by many of the money guys. Especially in the SE corner of the state.

Allen openly admits he and others want Fulmer back. Who the others are, I don't know. But I heard that from his mouth at the KY game.

People expected Thunder was one, and that LaMonte's texts were another. I believe this coach was the one that Gruden had contacted to be his assistant.
