What offends is you making a random assumption that we're all delusional. I see at least one poor sap felt sorry for you and slapped on a like for one of your posts. You are more than welcome to your opinion, and nobody will judge you for that, but waltzing in this thread and insulting all of the believers is just childish, and makes you seem like a troll. Voice your opinion on the coach, but keep your opinion about us believers to your miserable self. We have hope. You have a bowl of pissy Cheerios.

Skeeter is watching us go down in flames right now with the rest of us. It's very embarrassing to the university to have Louisvilles coach publicly turn you down. I wonder what he meant about the boosters, if they screwed this up its a bad thing.

If I were Hart, Tressel and the SF 49ERS OC that has been saying he would take it if offered. He was on Harbaugh's staff at Stanford.

If it's a matter of money I have no clue why we were so ready to give Strong almost 4mil/yr if the rumors were true. Just pay the man and let him have control except over stuff that deals with NCAA rules since he's not too familiar with those.

If he is lauding Hart for going on his own against the wishes of the old $$$ boosters that is a revelation. It sounds like Hart is aiming for a very fat early retirement package.

Now this is interesting. I've mentioned before, though I don't think anyone paid attention, that I used to work with Vic Griders wife. She always said Vic hoped to reunite with Jon in some capacity. He maintains contact with Gruden. I know this for a fact.

Don't want to add to the hysteria but I am hearing good things as well. I just can't sort out if they are part of the rumor mill or truly solid. What I do feel good about saying is that if we miss on Gruden don't be surprised to see Phil come marching home.

Gruden wanted more money or control or both than Hart and/or the boosters were willing to pony up. Now Hart has had to try to find a 'great' hire and found out the few 'great' hires weren't interested...had good jobs which explains the offers we have made (if we have). Now we are at a crossroads.
Solution: Give Gruden what he wants! After all when you factor in buyouts etc. it may not even be significantly more money. Or Gruden simply was using UT to continue to build up his ego and stock. If that was the case we are screwed!

Quite the opposite, I believe. He is saying the old money didn't want to go after a big name splashy hire. But all that was resolved. (Thus Hart going after "his own man", which failed.)

Again, I appreciate the info you brought earlier in these threads. But if you are off the bandwagon, why are you here?

And do you now no longer trust OV and Boro? They seem to be on the same page with Y4B, Boomer, and Jake.
