Just got wind of a possible announcement tonight. Don't look too much into this bc this isn't comin from a great source, but this is really the only thing I can share at this time so thought I would do so.

This would surprise me if it happened tonight bc this is not at all the timeline I was told by someone a lot more in "the know"

That being said, if this Athletic Director and these big money donors are/were seriously considering paying Charlie Strong $3.5 - $4.0 million, we Volunteers are in for a very rough ride over the next few years. For them to even consider offering that coach that kind of money shows very bad judgment, poor decision making and financial irresponsibility! Neither Charlie Strong nor any coach of his ilk deserves that kind of money!

Before you negas try to flame me, look at these salaries of much better and more proven coaches:

Richt $2.8 million

C Kelly $3.0 million

B Kelly $2.6 million

Spurrier $3.6 million

Fisher $2.8 million

Miles $4.0 million

Meyer $4.3 million.

There is simply no justification for paying that to Charlie Strong!!!!!!

Hah hiding nothing. I got interested with all the mentions of the plane (which have been false in the past: see Lovie) and wasn't convinced Gruden was actually in Oakland today. Got a hunch that Lamonte could be on it (I have no information that suggest he is, btw, was just an observation).

In other words, Google.:salute:
