Well... they decided on the $340m renovations before the Schiano debacle... If they were willing to do it for Schiano, they would have done it for anyone.

If we're to believe the divided factions amongst boosters, the renovations would've never occurred with Schiano. The deal was backdoored by the two s*** stains, and was rapidly leaked to thwart their agenda and rid ourselves of a cataclysmic disaster. Fulmer (Manning or someone else?) knew the reaction that would ensue once it was made public.
