Just a thought on the PV gifs: last night was a very awkward dinner scene where the host tied together a bunch of people who didn't necessarily like each other: Thus it was referencing Peyton's rumored dinner last night, which no doubt could have been a bit awkward.

This one is a dinner where Walt is wedging his way back into his home, forcing his wife to accept the new reality, and he brought a guest who is the personification of that new reality. Could this be alluding to the same folks dining again, say today at the HOF event, and there will be a new guest? Thus Jesse (the guy with the water for those that haven't seen the show) is Gruden being present today and being presented to Haslam?

Or has Jimmy forced his way back in?

Tucker would not make a lateral move to a lesser program. On top of that he has no ties to UT, so only see him interested in a HC position.

The only hope is that Kirby being a defense coach, maybe looking around as DC.

I thought everyone said he didint have one because in his contract he stated that if he were to leave it would only be for this job and another one I think so a buyout would not happen if it was for those places

I took it to mean the buyout if he leaves here

That is the problem. Everyone is assuming the Steele and Tucker interviews are for the HC. In reality, no one really knows. It wouldn't make sense for Fulmer to hire either of those candidates..as HC.

I don't think Tennessee would formerly interview the OC position when there isn't an HC?

I’ll give it a whirl....why would you have talks with martin if he was coming with gruden as was rumored a while ago.

Also, could be that Fulmer doesn’t think he’s ready (although why wouldn’t Fulmer sit down with him anyways, just to boost Tee’s resume).

Or Manning doesn’t like Tee as has been rumored. But Fulmer is AD, not Manning.

I choose option 1 as it supports my narrative.

Doesn't have to be formal for it to be valid, does it, if he's being considered only for OC-HCIW or similar?

Gruden has already talked with Tee. We know that and Gruden likely knows what Tee's answer is if he decides to take the job.
