exactly. i've not seen anything yet that links Miles to UCF. now, i could see where that would make sense for both program and coach though, but i haven't seen it.....would be happy to read about it though if it exists.

Thier fans, Troy Walters is thier Gruden though

It's possible Miles' group is putting pressure on Fulmer to make a decision.

This could be the case. Nice post :hi:

My question to all that want Miles.

Who would you rather have on the sidelines Fulmer or Miles?

Who was better, Fulmer or Miles?

Then why do you want Miles?

we're in a position right now that situation, at least partially, helps dictate what we do. options are limited to say the least.

two weeks ago, sure Miles had supporters. but most of us, self included, were a hard "no" to miles.

Oh, you're a twue fan, I get it.

Your troll factor is strong but your presentation is sophomoric. Step up your game.

You don't know what trolling is. Saying something you don't like doesn't make it trolling.

Wanting good things for the program is fine. I want Gruden too.

Unfortunately, before the Shianamo, it moved into the dangerous territory from wanting Gruden to expecting this Gruden fantasy. This is bad for everyone because it could keep the fanbase from getting behind a great hire because they didn't do something that had a zero percent chance from the start.

Don't believe me? Read Boro's posts.

He threw in the towel after finding out Beav & Bubba weren't being truthful about Gruden once the Shiano news broke.

I'm not sure if he was around in 2012, but it sounds as if he experienced what we did back then the first time. He was all in.

What weren't they truthful, that it was 'done'?

Of course it wasn't officially done when they spoke but it seems Haslam/Currie surprised everyone with their tactics after everyone thought they were on board.

Miles.
Miles.

Miles gives Tennessee credibility when there very little to go around. He provides us with an already picked OC who loves Tennessee and someone the fans want. He gives us wins over the bottom feeders and always had his guys ready to play Saban. He can recruit with the best of them and could get us in on some assistants who wouldn’t normally be in with

Really? Worried about his image? You either love Tennessee, want to coach here, or you don't.

None of us give a damn about the image. We are proud of what happened last week. We know the truth about what was going on and I'm sure Gruden does too.

That sort of pisses me off... image... really?

A lot of people tend to forget about Jon's ego. While it brought him success, as a coach you have to have somewhat of an ego. It can also cause other problems.

All of this.

LSU looked stupid letting him go. Sure he's eccentric....but he did nothing at LSU but win at a high level.

He ran his course there, like a lot of coaches do after 10+ years. A fresh opportunity and challenge may be just what he needs. He's vastly more qualified than anyone else on the board.

S

sounds like he is looking for an excuse. If this really bothers him then we don't need him.

I got a feeling Gruden said yes. Why would Les all of a sudden not be a candidate?

If Miles really wants to coach this next year then he most certainly would want to leak his name as no longer in contention for the Vols if we had told him he was out.

This is very possible. But does this mean Gruden or someone else? The Steele info greatly concerns me.
