The 2012 Gruden threads is what got me hooked on VN. I googled "Jon Gruden" and Volnation popped up. I lurked for a month and finally joined in December. I'm about to get my 5th star!

I agree. That’s the kind of stuff I do to my buddies all the times when their trying to keep a secret. I know, I’m an ass, but it’s so funny to seen them squirm. I never have actually gave away their secret but I hint at it with them all the time.

I honestly think it was just a poor attempt at a joke and Gruden was kind of ticked about it.

This has been exhausting. I’m ready for it to end and I believe it will tomorrow. No announcement but we will know who we have. Phil isn’t being secretive either. We’re hearing Miles, Morris, Steele and Tucker because that’s who he’s talking too. It’s like we’re Old Yeller and Gruden just won’t shoot us.

As I mentioned earlier tonight, I received a text that said it’s down to Petersen and Miles. Petersen was Phil’s last interview of the process and we should know by tomorrow. I hope with all hope it’s Petersen but I think it’s Miles so it will probably be Tucker. I want Gruden But I don’t think he wants us. We shall see. Or not.

Good grief, you couldn't tell anything.. I think he simply avoids the questions out of respect for the University. Don't think it means anything, good or bad as far as the possibility of him coming..

At this point the best thing he could've done was to squash it. And do so firmly.

How reliable is Brent Hubbs? He mentioned Kevin Steele. That would be an absolutely horrible HC hire

I know for a fact (as well as a lot of other insiders it seems) that Les Miles is our #2 option behind Gruden. And that is 100% already done as a plan B. My buddy is good friends with Chief's son. Gonna be a Chavis/Miles/Martin package.

It's amazing that people believe you have a script to tonight's broadcast.... I'll bump my post from a few hours ago shortly. I want Gruden as much or more than anyone, but rationality has departed the building, and long ago.
