1 of 2 things happen tonight. He announces he’s stepping down from MNF effective immediately and Volnation pulls an all nighter. Or he makes a statement regarding TN being a great place, great school, great fans and anyone who coaches there should feel honored. He will throw us a huge bone and that’ll be his way of saying no.

He just hired a new OC so it’s likely not Peterson unfortunately

He could give the OC the option to come with him. He was with Pedersen at Boise ST and Washington other than this year as QB coach for the Atlanta Falcons.

Longshot that Pedersen comes but he would definitely be a home run hire.

JMO no sources.

I don't think we're looking for him to be wearing an orange tie or announce anything related to the Tennessee job...

I think they are suggesting that this may be his last night hosting MNF.. In which case, he would announce that tonight.

This is not something ESPN would hype up. It would just be an announcement, probably towards the end of the game, that he is leaving the program to "pursue other opportunities" or something like that.

This^ is how it happens if it happens live on tv. JMHO! Still, SOON!!!! Gruden to the Hill!

What if he says nothing

What if he does neither of those two options? 🤡 I don't think he would publicly step down from MNF on MNF because it would take away from the game don't see him doing that.

My thoughts exactly. I can’t stay up that late, I’m old.

I feel like I need to keep working until the end of the MNF broadcast just in case. I’ve already informed everyone at my office that if we ever hire Gruden, I’ll be “working from home” the following day.

NJ article that references the Grude...

ESPN analyst Jon Gruden
Whether it's smoke and mirrors or there's actual substance to it, it feels more realistic than ever that Gruden could finally leave the Monday Night Football booth and return to coaching. The former Raiders and Buccaneers coach is reaching the point where he's been out of coaching as long as he's been in it - this is his ninth season out of the game - and it may be now or never for him at age 54. Could a Giants club with a slew of offensive weapons and a likely top-3 pick to pursue a quarterback of the future convince him?

My wife is going to wonder why I insist on watching MNF tonight. I barely even watch the NFL lol

He would if he’s coming coach us. 😉👊

That looks like the coster at Lake Winnie. Scared because there actually was a chance ofdeath and destruction.

Dude, I know exactly what coaster you’re talking about and it scares the hell outta me. It’s not a scary ride other than the fear that it may collapse at any given moment
