That's assuming Petersen wants to leave Washington. Regardless what we think as fans, the whole chaos of the last week has certainly had a negative effect on some potential coaches' views of the school.

We know it was toxic because we're in it, but from an outsider's perspective it might look like a dumpster fire.

I often do this thing at work, where in the middle of a discussion I'll drop a super contentious opinion, and then just walk away. I'll come back 10min later to find everyone still arguing about it.
