This would have been the perfect time to address these false rumors and put them to rest. Currie was highly criticized for not addressing these. Therefore, this makes me think Gruden is very much in play!

Welcome to Volnation JoJoVol...I agree. This will be an interesting couple of days. If DB believed there were real legs to it...I do too.

Not as clear to me as you but I hear ya. If I hear he chooses Les when we could have had Petersen I'll be pissed...then I'll support Miles/Tee and GBO!!

Better yet...why didn't the media just ask PF at the press conference...I bet he would have answered....or why has no one else in media asked Gruden....make him answer...

I'm mostly with you on this too. I doubt he would do that - how was it described as a farewell? - if it wasn't already out there and leaked. I can't see him just dropping on a bomb on MNF. Not sourced just a hunch having worked in collegiate and professional athletics. It would be highly unprofessional for it to go down like that and as we've all seen from JG he very much cares about his brand and how he is perceived.

Just because he interviewed someone doesn't mean that person would take the job. You have to meet and see of it's a fit. Also, as a new AD it's good to get out and meet some people. Network.

he has passed out of purgatory, in the wrong direction. We suspect that Putin's minions have co-opted his 'puter.
We thought it might be Kim Jong Un, but he likes basketball not football and Putin is more competent when it comes to co-opting your interwebz.

He is working with Freak, but is having issues with even receiving emails from Freak.

I don't think this is fair or accurate at all. Miles final season and a half were disappointing but that was a byproduct of offensive struggles. Miles is a smart guy, he knows he would need to change his offense if he got another job, Fulmer understands that scenario all too well and I suspect would give him all the support he would need in finding a suitable OC. Miles would do well, he can recruit and with the right staff he could make big strides for us. Keep in mind, if it is Miles, he's only going to be here 2 maybe 3 years tops, we would bring in a DC or OC that would serve as a coach in waiting a la Jimbo Fisher. If the Miles hire happens it's going to be a calculated staff process, because Fulmer will need to plan 3 or 4 years in advance for the new head coach. There are a lot worse people you could learn from than Les Miles.
