According to this, Fulmer is actually going the same route as Currie and Haslam ? Next we will hear that Fulmer out there interviewing Alabama St HC. I am glad that Fulmer took the AD over but I still dont have any confidence that he will bring in a HC that will make the fan base happy. I hope people have not put their protest signs up. Bev and Haslam probably think if they make Fulmer AD then when he hires a nothing of a coach. that the fans would except the hire because Fulmer made the hire.
I am starting to think that us fans are going to be disappointed in the end.

maybe we should be contacting them, and letting them know how we feel? gentle, kind, responsible, input?

You realize that if Fulmer has come out and said he’s not welcome back he’s not coming. He and Davenport probably got a list together before he started the search

Haslam tells you he will admit to paying players while you were coach. You know it's true.

He tells you if you hire (insert your top choice, Gruden, Petersen etc.) he tells.

If you hire (insert your least attractive coach, Doeren, Schiano etc.) he keeps quiet.

Whatcha do?

I'd tell him to worry about his federal court case.

Trying to recalibrate my Grudemeter this morning. The pic from Ruby's last night, was there someone in that pic with Gruden that made your Grudemeter go up? (like potential coaching staff?)

The pic just validated that Gruden was that steakhouse in Cincy at 6pm...with air travel it is easy to see Phil flying up there during a busy weekend..I doubt he's slept much.

my emails to Director Fulmer and Chancellor Davenport this morning:

To the point, I believe the first and foremost candidate for the HC job is Jon Gruden. If another coach is hired, regardless of how viable they may be in their own right, fans will not be happy knowing we did not approach Gruden.

If we can hire Gruden, we should ... money shouldn't be an issue either.
If we can't, it shouldn't be because we didn't try.
If we don't, the fans need to hear why.

I don't see any way Steele is our HC. I don't think he would leave Auburn to come here as DC seeing as Malzahn is staying and that's a lateral move to a lesser team.

The only was I see him coming is for a substantial raise and to be a DC in a loaded coaching lineup.

There was some info starting about Saturday that Haslam was going to do that - state that players were being paid when CPF was coach - as a way to tarnish CPF in some way, we all knew it was Haslam just lashing out because of what happened and I think the CPF camp is full prepared for it
