This is my first post so y’all don’t know me but I’ve been on this thread for well over a month and the site for about a year so, I feel like I know some of you. I had major log in problems and finally got access this morning. Thanks Freak for sorting it out.
I just wanted to say a few things (had to store it all up):

GrandVol your morning posts are epic. I look forward to them every day.

Atlanta Vol (if you are still around and reading), I was really touched by your generous action with the tickets. It’s not something I would have been eligible for but it made me swell with pride knowing there are people like you out there.

Beaver, I love your passion. No idea if your info is accurate or not, but it’s been entertaining for sure.
I know a few people (not going to call them all out here) that have expressed family illness and loss. For what it’s worth, I felt compelled to pray for you each time a read such a post.

Mrmax86, thanks for keeping it all sorted out with the daily post.

Dudleys87, jakez4ut, NickZ4UT, VolInNorthCack and others: I hate I missed out on all the Charlotte chatter. I wanted to chime in several times. I live very very close to OMB. I hope to run into you soon.

So much I’ve wanted to say over the past few months and people I want to (positively) call out, but I will keep this semi-short and look forward to contributing in the future.

Lastly, Gruden until it’s not. Soon!

There may also be some issues with the use of the word Tennesseee in pantone 151 and the t on the mug. CLC has won settelments based upon intent and use of color - see Smack Apparel - Drinking town with a football problem tee. You might want to run the design by Mike Keener on campus just to make sure. I have included his info at bottom. I am just trying to give you a little information in order you dont have issues down the road. Good luck with your endeavors and a really cool design.

From someone on TOS - don't know the poster so take FWIW:
"Negotiations with Gruden tonight. Possibly a farewell tomorrow on MNF. Official announcement Tuesday. Boosters ready to commit an additional $180 million to football/athletics.

If Gruden falls through, then the following will be pursued:

Miles
Fuente
Patterson
Peterson

Tee Martin will be a definite if Gruden or Miles are hired. Steele has gone from being a definite to high maybe"

not a dumb question, Fulmer was there getting familiar with Atlanta for a return trip next year :)

Gruden wouldn't be leaked, CPF slipped a bunch of the Knoxville media yesterday, try not to read too much into rumors and intentional leaks

I've wanted Gruden for years, but what information besides random posters here and there are still pointing to him? I think that ship sailed long ago.

I thought the same thing. But, Swain did say he was getting over the flu. Interesting coincidence all the same.

Lol you have a point... but what if their doing some recon reporter stuff trying to get the scoop..? Maybe they caught wind about Gruden and their afraid they’ll spill the beans on the air. Maybe their going to the HOF dinner tonight?

I’m going to choose to believe it’s a conspiracy (it’s been pretty quite lately so I gotta keep myself entertained).

Miles got fired at LSU for a reason, there is also a reason why no other school has wanted to hire since he was fired. As far as Tee, I like him, but there are better options at OC. Everyone salivates over Tee just because he played at UT. I think Mike Leach would be a better hire.

Welcome! The Charlotte is strong in this thread. We'll keep in touch and we'll all get together once this thing is signed, sealed and delivered.

The biggest issue of infringement revolves around money...if someone is making money from a marked design, the owner is pretty much bound to protect the mark in order to keep it safe. It’s why you mark it in the first place.

Just putting out a heads up after 20 yrs as a graphic designer/web designer.

I feel differently. I believe Gruden is in the mix, and PF is doing the legwork for UT. Remember, Tee said he had not heard from “UT” after the PAC 12 game Friday night. And as others have indicated, after all the mud we’ve been drug through, managing expectations would seem critical at this point. Silence from PF and JG is therefore a GOOD sign imo.

Your right he did. He knows how to win and often. I’m not salivating over anyone Gruden included I have never been above 60%. Tee runs an offense Tennessee has been missing for years. Mike Leach is a flashy hire but if he was worth his salt why is he stuck at State?
