Les Miles would be a great hire, plus with a great staff we could definitely improve next year. You guys get caught up on one person too much. Miles by himself is kinda blah, but if it is true that he will take a lot less money and let us build an insane staff, including Tee, then that starts checking off a lot of boxes that we all wanted. And it would be a huge upgrade over Butch and "the best staff in America."

Miles got ran off at LSU, but he's a winner. He has won at the highest level. Now that he has had the chance to step back, realize what he needed to improve on, and become more open minded, I would fully support Miles as head coach with a great staff. Also, the reason his recruits were 50% in-state at LSU was because he did not need to recruit outside the state, but he is still a good recruiter. Cade Mays even said us hiring him would be a "game changer," plus when you add Tee that's a good combo deal.

Excuse me though, Gruden soon!

I hope Phil has already reached out to Leach. In my opinion he’s the best offensive mind in the sport not named Chip Kelly:

On the flip side, Fulmer has shown he’s a prideful man. I don’t see him hiring someone that Currie had inked (allegedly).

His name is Phillip and that is what her prefers!

Isn’t Tennessee supposed to have some of the best in state talent it’s had in years in the upcoming few recruiting cycles? Seems like the state is improving quickly with the in state talent.

My 100th post. I am taking this opportunity to say, THANK YOU FREAK for providing this incredible space for those of us with Orange Blood (and some folks that live under a bridge) to communicate. You do a GREAT service and I SINCERELY APPRECIATE IT! Thank You Sir!

Where did Sara go? I’m not understanding what’s the significance of the time difference?

Sorry, went over to twitter for a few. Not sure what it means really, I think he was probably on Mountain time a part of the day, definitely traveling and reports earlier that he could not be found.

Not sure why the rumors now are 5/25mil when Gundy was offered 6/42. Seems like they’d be leaving some options off the table with that budget.

Some of you guys have a severe reading comprehension problem. The statement clearly said “at least” $5 million. Guess what? $100 million per year meets the threshold of at least $5 million per year.

I don’t get the obsession with Miles. He was fired from LSU for being stubborn with the offense and refusing to change. It would be an underwhelming hire IMO.

This...

Is there any proof we have even talked with Miles since Fulmer took over? I thought Les said he hasn't talked to TN in 2 weeks?

Gruden to the Hill!

Soon!

No, I was refuting the rumor going around that he was in negotiations with Tennessee tonight.

In your defense, you did that. My question is, why the run around? Just say it.

I understand if you're cautious and want to protect someone and their anonymity, but the 30 minutes it took to say it could've happened sooner. That's all I'm saying. Now I'm out of breath....
